Take a non remote, 5 days trip to Morocco where exciting Marrakech city tour will be blended with a great adventure in the Atlas mountains and enjoy a splendid resort at the Sahara desert. As a first step of your journey, head to Marrakech and discover its cultural heritage and busy bazaars. Drive over the magnificent high Atlas Mountain range and some beautiful valleys and dramatic gorges of Dades. As you continue on towards the heart of Mora, you will reach the great dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert where you will get on a camel and head for the berber tent/ camp for the night. Relax and spend the night in the virgin desert. You will embark on a new trip to Ouarzazate, “the doors to the desert”, where sightseeing of uncommon Kasbahs, as well as modern film studios, and leave for Marrakech, overwhelmed with positive impressions of Moroccan culture and hospitality.

Itinerary
As soon as you arrive, this charming city welcomes you to the throbbing heart of Marrakech's grand culture. Check into your hotel and have breakfast to pump you up for the day. Meet with a local guide to begin your tour as you see the highlights of Marrakech. Pay a visit to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, with its imposing minaret dominating the sky. Stroll through the Jardin Majorelle, so green that it allows you serenity surrounded by unexpected flora and bright tones. Dive into the main atmosphere of the Medina: You will meander through the busy souks and discover all the perfumed spices, textiles, and handicrafts. If you do not feel airy, spend your free time in the evening or visit the most famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which usually is filled with street performers, food vendors, and local artisans, a scene that so vividly defines Moroccan life.

Wake up to nice breakfast and leave the crowded city behind for a beautiful drive across the High Atlas Mountains. This drive offers wonderful views of rugged landscapes, terraced fields, and traditional Berber villages seemingly clinging to the sides of mountains. Further on, passing through mountain passes, you'll get into a marvelous Rose Valley where some of the finest landscapes are crossed by the Rose Festival. Today's destination is the Dades Gorges: a dramatic series of rugged canyons carved by the Dades River. These gorges offer a breathtaking natural scenario, with walls of pure rock rising straight up on both sides. On arrival, there is time to have a stroll around, perhaps take a short walk in the gorge or simple enjoy the viewpoint. Dinner will be a flavorsome affair at your guesthouse later, where you can unwind and soak up the tranquility of this pretty and far-flung location.

This morning, following breakfast, you will continue your journey deeper into the Moroccan landscape further yet towards the vastness of the Sahara Desert. En route, you will travel through the charming Todra Gorges, another gorge of sheer canyon walls and the river one of clear waters that flows through these gorges. As the Desert starts to emerge on the horizon, the landscape quickly changes to rolling hills of sand dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see. Upon arrival at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, you will experience the traditional mode of transportation across the desert by camel. You will head by camelback into the center of the dunes as the sun is beginning to set, lighting the sky with hues of orange and pink. Such a magical experience reaches its peak in the form of the traditional Berber camp among the dunes. Now this is where you will be welcomed with a warm dinner that shall be followed by an entire campfire night with live music and whatnot till this beautiful, star-filled night. The peace of the desert night cannot be more unforgettable while you sleep in your comfortable desert tent.

Wake up to the sound of desert silence, and have a traditional breakfast while the dunes herald the rise of the sun. Then, bid farewell to the Sahara as you continue on toward Ouarzazate, otherwise known as the "Gateway to the Sahara." Rich in history, this city is famous for its Kasbahs, well-preserved, along with being the major filming location for so many Hollywood movie productions. Upon arrival, you can visit the staggering Taourirt Kasbah, listed with UNESCO as a World Heritage site, and take a tour of the studios of local filmmakers where film productions like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia were shot. In the evening, enjoy a hearty dinner in your hotel, relaxing after a day of adventure.

On the last day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, then drive back to Marrakech.
